The Weekly Menu March 6 – March 19 #glutenfree #menuplanning

Well I’ve done a lot of weekly menu planning up to this point, but since most of my major  school projects, presentations and papers hit at once – I need something quick to get us to Spring Break.  Then things should get back to normal as I ride the wave to graduation and the Wine & Food Fest!  So I’m going to use a couple old weekly menus – and isn’t that actually what they should be used for anyway!

Then we’ve got some fun food ideas and experiments coming up over Spring Break (March 20 – 26).  Will we be able to finally make good homemade pierogies???  I’ll tell you about the flour mix we are using.  And I need to restock our homemade chicken stock and gumbo, too… maybe some Persian food!!!

Anyway here is the weekly menu plan:

Week of March 6-12: http://theweeklymenubook.com/2017/01/08/weekly-menu-jan-9-glutenfree-menuplanning/

Week of March 13-19: http://theweeklymenubook.com/2016/12/25/the-weekly-menu-dec-26-glutenfree-menuplanning/ (except instead of using vegan ranch dressing because of the xanthan gum we might try a coconut cream, avocado, super clean ranch style dressing)

Have a great couple of weeks everyone!  See you on the other side! 🙂

Hi! I'm Deana. This food blog is all about cooking wholesome real food and developing gluten free recipes for some of our favorite comfort foods. I also create weekly menus to save time and money while reducing stress and food waste. I had to start eating gluten-free in 2010 and dairy/casein-free (except for the occasional Parmesan or goat cheese) in 2014. I'm kind of a science nerd, too. In the '90s, I earned an undergrad degree in biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin. Hook 'em! Then followed up with a PhD in biochemistry and a law degree from the University of Houston. I recently earned a certificate in genomics/sequence analysis from Johns Hopkins University, where I also took a very cool food microbiology course.
